Bulgarian program with increased fees as of May 1, 2018

Time is limited for prospective investors to benefit from the lower application fee structure

Bulgaria is at the forefront of change since their elected position as President of the European Union Council. Just yesterday, the nation hosted a potentially breakthrough EU-Turkey Summit in Varna. Their recognition however, isn’t the only thing seeing an increase this year- as of May 1, 2018, so will their program fees.

With Bulgaria’s responsibility and dedication to empower the European Union, it is no wonder that investors from around the globe are discovering the outstanding opportunity and benefits involved with investing in the country. And there is no better time than now to take that step towards a brighter future, with Bulgaria’s lower application fees.

New fee structure will be as follows:

Residency fees, inclusive of due diligence fees

• € 35,000 For a family of two
• € 2,500 Dependents below 18

To qualify for citizenship, investors must maintain their permanent resident status for five years. There is however, a fast-track option that allows investors to apply for citizenship a year after their initial contribution by doubling their investment.

Fast-Track fees, which include citizenship processing fees

• € 30,000 For a family of two
• € 7,500 Per dependent, up to 5 children
• € 2,500 For additional children
• € 7,500 Due diligence for Main Applicant
• € 3,000 Due diligence for Dependents 14-18
• € 5,000 Due diligence for Dependents below 18

Citizenship application fees after 5 years of permanent residency

• € 20,000 For a family of two
• € 5,000 Per dependent, up to 5 children
• € 2,500 For additional children
• € 7,500 Due diligence for Main Applicant
• € 3,000 Due diligence for Dependents 14-18
• € 5,000 Due diligence for Dependents below 18

Benefits for Bulgarian citizens include the unrestricted right to live, work, and study anywhere in Europe, as well as the right to own land in any EU country. As the ideal gateway into the European economy and way of life, Bulgaria offers a diverse and culturally rich lifestyle to investors and their families for generations to come.

Please note, Arton’s Dubai Office is now accepting credit cards as an alternative method of payment for fees. All major credit cards are accepted.
