Global citizens, world leaders, policymakers, philanthropists, celebrities and thought leaders will gather at the Global Citizen Forum 2017 to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world today, particularly migration, technology and security.
The theme of this year’s forum is Global Citizenship – Opportunities in the Age of Uncertainty. It will take place November 5-6, 2017.
“The world and our global society is going through profound change,” said Armand Arton, founder of the Global Citizen Forum. “A new generation is rethinking the global economy, identity and how individuals connect with each other. Once again, the forum will become a platform for the world’s leading thinkers to debate the big issues of our time.”
Previous forums have been held in Monaco, Toronto and Dubai, with speakers including Kofi Annan, former secretary-general of the United Nations; José Manuel Barroso, former president of the European Commission; Ms. Irina Bokova, director-general of Unesco; Wyclef Jean, Grammy award-winning musician; as well as an extensive list of global leaders from politics, business and philanthropy.
