Written by Arton Capital - Thursday, 09 December 2010 03:24

Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) has announced an increase in the fees for Quebec immigration applications. As a result, investor clients applying for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program will see the cost of application for a Quebec Selection Certificate (certificat de sélection du Québec) increase to CDN $ 3 899, up from $ 3 850. For accompanying family members the new fees will be CDN $ 152, up from $ 150.

The increase of 1.27% reflects the consumer price index in Quebec for September 30, 2010. It complies with the requirements of Article 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act of the Government of Quebec.

New immigration application prices will come into effect on January 1st, 2011.

Always refer to the official Canada Immigration and Quebec Immigration websites for up-to-date application fees.
