New Canadian immigration caps to reduce backlogs and improve wait times |

Effective July 1st 2011, CIC will further cap new applications to the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Immigrant Investor and Federal Entrepreneur programs. Implications on the Federal Investor Program Application forms will have to be submitted to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia instead of current visa offices, where complete files will be verified and then send to each mission. Please note that files sent to current offices after July 1st will be returned. New address for applications after July 1st, 2011: Courrier address: Immigrant Investor Program For more information on the centralized intake office in Sydney, visit CIC website. The updated Schedule 6 and Check List, are available on the CIC and our websites. In addition, the Federal Entrepreneur program will be imposed with a moratorium, also effective July 1st, 2011.
