How to obtain Authorization for Iranian clients |

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade informed us today of the requirements to obtain an Authorization for Iranian clients affected by the recent Economic Sanctions (Special Economic Measures - Iran). As the imposed sanctions on Iran restrict financial transactions, an Authorization is required in order to be able to transfer funds related to the Immigrant Investor Program, open a bank account, apply for mortgage or credit card or obtain other similar financial services. How to submit the information: There is no specific form to complete in order to apply for an Authorization. The applicant or his/her representative may simply send the required information to the Economic Law Section by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The decision-making process can take three to six weeks. It is possible to accelerate the process on grounds of urgency, if requested by the applicant.
