Applications received after the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program’s official suspension date, October 13th, 2010 will now have to be returned to the respective consultants.
Ministère de l'Immigration et des communautés culturelles (MICC) has set forth the following procedure for the applications pick-up:
- Consultants who have deposited applications can present themselves, carrying an identity document and a list of applications to be picked up. They will have to sign a registry document stating that they have received the applications; or
- If consultants would like to send a representative to pick up the applications, they will have to sign a power of attorney for their representative allowing them to act on their behalf. The representative will also have to present an identity document and the list of applications to be picked up. Furthermore, the representatives will have to sign a registry document stating that they have received the applications. The representative could be an employee of the financial intermediary.
Montreal Consultants or their representatives should come at the reception at: 285 Notre-dame, 4th floor and ask to see Mr. Samy Bourkherroub
Hong Kong It is recommended to delegate the pick up to the financial intermediary (an employee of). They will have to communicate with the office to take an appointment and schedule the time to pick up the applications.
Deadline Applications can be picked up until December 1st, inclusively. After this date, all applications will be returned to the respective consultants by mail.
Consultants or their representatives have to take all necessary measures to handle the applications accordingly.
